The made in heaven NAP BAG was developed in 1989 as Canada's original Baby Sleeping Bag.
It is made of 60% organic cotton and 40% viscose from bamboo.
Our sleeping bag is safe, warm and cozy and intended to replace blankets, which could be kicked off during the night.
The made in heaven NAP BAG provides a constant and comfortable temperature for a baby while sleeping.
Machine washable(delicate/ cold water) and hang to dry cotton.
***NB*** CLOSE ZIPPER BEFORE WASHING
How do I use the NAP BAG?
The NAP BAG is put over your baby's sleeper and is sleeveless to reduce the danger of your baby becoming too hot.
It replaces loose blankets thereby keeping your baby's head uncovered during sleep. Place your baby in the NAP BAG on his/her back.
The centre front zipper opens from the bottom for easy diaper changes. Soft front placket velcros over top of zipper to protect your baby.
N.B no buttons used to eliminate choking hazard.
When can I start using my NAP BAG?
The made in heaven NAP BAG can be used from when your baby's a few weeks old. (7-10lbs) It is best to start early and use regularly as it becomes a positive "bedtime routine". I used mine until my toddler was toilet trained and ready to move from the crib to bed.
How many NAP BAGs will I need?
Our suggestion is two - one to wash and one to wear.
What size NAP BAG will my baby need?
Our sleeping bag comes in 5 sizes. It is important to use size according to your baby's age (ie. NOT too big.) When appropriately sized, the neck and armholes will be fitted, so there's no risk of slipping into the bag. NAP BAGs lower the risk of suffocation.
Available in 5sizes:
NAP BAG Length: shoulder to bottom
XS - to fit baby, newborn to 6 m (7-16lbs), 23.5 inches
S - to fit baby, 6-12 months (15-22lbs.), 26.5 inches
M - to fit baby, 12-18 months (21-26lbs.), 29.5 inches
L - to fit baby, 18-24months ( 25- 29lbs.), 34 inches

What is the ideal room temperature for my baby?
Health Professionals recommend that the ideal room temperature for your baby is around 18°C or 65°F.
The NAP BAG is designed to be used at this temperature. In very hot weather place your baby in a diaper and cotton undershirt inside the NAP BAG.
Why are baby sleeping bags so popular in Europe?
They have been used in the Netherlands, France, Germany and Austria for decades. Clinical studies from the Netherlands suggest that the use of baby sleeping bags is one of the reasons why the Netherlands has a very low incidence of SIDS.
SIDS is the leading cause of death in Canada for infants between the age of 1 month and 1 year, claiming the lives of 3 babies every week.
